This widget is designed to help customers confirm the identity and compliance status of service providers who present a ShieldID at their door or worksite.

The widget provides a seamless, secure verification experience without requiring authentication or API integration. It's perfect for companies who want to offer ShieldID verification to their customers or website visitors.

How It Works

1. A visitor enters an 11-character ShieldID (e.g., CA920261034)
2. The widget validates the request and searches the ShieldHub database
3. The widget displays the vendor's name, ShieldScore, expiration date, and verification status
4. Only users who have enabled sharing will have their details displayed

Testing Instructions

1. Click any of the buttons above to open the verification modal
2. Test the following:
   • Modal opens correctly
   • ESC key closes the modal
   • Clicking backdrop (dark area) closes the modal
   • X button closes the modal
   • Search functionality works
   • Results display correctly
   • "Back to Search" button works
   • Search limit counter decrements
3. Test on different screen sizes (resize browser window)
4. Check browser console for any errors
